Webramp 700s: question about firmware and port 4 crossover

I'm trying to connect a computer to port 4 on my Webramp 700s. The fourth port has a little sign that indicates it's a crossed port, which then leads me to believe it's for connecting to a hub. Now, I should just be able to connect a computer to this port w/ a crossover cable, correct? It isn't working. I have tried cross AND straight through and neither work. So... what's wrong?

Cross:
end 1: wo, o, wg, b, wb, g, wbr, br
end 2: wg, g, wo, b, wb, o, wbr, br

Also, apparently you can use SonicWall 5.1.7 firmware with this unit... how? Same way I upgraded to 5.11 webramp by corrupting it? And where can I get it?

Thanks for that mate!

As for the uplink port, I've come to the conclusion it is just dead/flaky. If the unit has been off for a while and then you turn it on the lights and connections for the port work. After a while it starts blinking out, and finally fails altogether. Guess I'll just have to get a switch. Everything else seems fine.

Thanks for the help.
