Hi. I went to a personal webpage and they had an .wma file playing for background music. The artist and song name were given credit at the site, but I was wondering is this legal?
 
If the site publisher had permission from the author (or owner/publisher) of the copyrighted (if it was copyrighted) material then it should be legal.
