I've volunteered to create several web pages for a martial arts school web site and I would to protect of the content within the pages such as images and coding. Does anyone know of a way to disable right click without having a message box pop on the screen, or a way to disable the save picture as command Internet Explorer? Also is there a way to prevent someone from using the save as command under the File menu? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Using Javascript you can make it slightly more difficult to save an image but not enough to deter anyone who really wants it, all they have to do is disable javascript.

As stated above, using javascript is just a deterrant, not a solution. You could create the sites in flash, though.

I don't think that is possible.

Watermarks are the only way to "protect" your images...

Reason: all images are downloaded and stored temporarily. Go through your browser cache and it is all there.

Don't worry too much about people pirating images. It's really not that big of a deal. The internet is a public area, people can see / take anything they want on public pages with little to no effort.

If you're really worried, modify the images so that they all have ' property of fname lname ' written through them or soemthing.
