Weblock should I trust it ? Ad blocking and ad app blocker for ios

I haven't bought it yet but read a lot about it.

I am not sure if I should trust it or not with how it works. What do you guys think ? Oh btw I want it because I hate ads in my local news app and CNN app. The banners and video ads.
