There was a thread about the company that hosts the anandtech webpage giving its members 50%off ? Anyone know how I can find this? Also if this company is any good.?

The thread was in Hot Deals and I believe was a 1 or 2 week deal. As far as the company, I have absolutely no complaints about their service.

I think you're referring to the moreweb deal, iirc. Don't know if it's still up, I jumped on that one months ago.

I took a quick look in HD and I didn't see it, so it must have been deleted. I couldn't even find it with a search.

How can you tell the OS of the web hoster...? I hear that I want to have linux..not windows. Is hostpc linux? If so I couldn't find where they mentioned that.

HostPC is Linux.
