webhost recommendations

Can anyone recommend a webhost ~$5/month, basically less than $10, that offers the following features:

1) IMP or Neo webmail, no weird webmail - I use webmail a lot
2) Can host multiple domains under 1 account
3) Is not a fly by night company - i.e. actually performs backups

I've switched hosting compaines 3 times in the past 9 months due to downtime and lost email. I was, of course, paying around $3/month, but still....
I'm trying 1and1.com for free for a couple months, but their webmail is HORRIBLE. I like the fact that I can point my 3 domains to them (three different websites, not all the domains pointing to the same site). But I'm having a hard time finding a new host that is stable, has a good webmail program and can host multiple domains and is cheap. I guess I'm asking for too much. My friend just signed on with westhost.com, but I'm not sure yet.

Any recommendations?

 
btw, if anyone wants a script that runs full Cpanel backups and will FTP them to wherever you want, pm me. You will need access to cron jobs.
