hey guys, wondering if you could give me feedback on the site:

hrm....seems the site takes too long, at the beginning the loaders ask if you if you want to play the game or not, if you answer no to both questions it shouldn't take long to load, but you miss out on the animation and the gaming part of the site

yea i was afraid that depending on computer specs it might be a bit slow =( i think its more computer intensive then most sites, wanting to know if its really slow for people who are on dial up
 
Looks ok, but I would never use it for more than the one minute I stayed there. The only pure flash sites I can stay at involve the Cheat and Homestar. 😉

Too many intro screens for a short attention span like mine. I left while waiting for it to finish loading. I know that doesn't sound like good feedback, but if you take it the right way, it's very useful feedback.
 
great work with the flash. Im still loading but I can already tell you're pretty experienced. I just wish i wasnt on 56k.

it asks you 2 questions at the beginning of the site, if you pick no to both of them then you don't get to watch any of the animation scenes or anything but you get the basics of the site
 
Looks like you have some skills, but imo you are going to loose a lot of visitors on first impression if the site requires a manual to navigate

Hey guys, I'm the creator of the site. A few notes about the site:

1. It was created as a portfolio site to showcase my work to the big players in the gaming industry. I imagine they would be more willing to stick around and look at the site if I attached a few screenshots along with my resume.
2. The intro has dialog, so turn your speakers on. It shows a small clip of what you get to see if you beat the final boss.
3. Waiting 3-4 minutes isn't necessary, even if you're a first time visitor. Just select that you would like to preload the sections individually. It really doesn't take that long.
4. You can easily navigate through the Quick Links. That was mentioned the moment you enter the "home" page. Visitors who doesn't wish to waste time playing the game can still easily navigate with a simple mouse click.

Man, pretty slick looking site...I don't mind the 100% Flash aspect, it's cool. Good luck with getting this portfolio out, looks like you spent a lot of time on it!
 
The volume of the dialog in the intro is too quite. I had to turn volumes way up to here any of it. Once the first dialog screen showed up it scared the sh!t out of me cause it was so loud.

LOL, really sorry about that. I have no problem on my computer, and I haven't heard anyone else say that. What type of sound card do you have?
