Webcams in Linux? (Logitech QuickCam Home USB)

I would like to setup a webcam (so I can check on my dog from work). I would want to run it under linux from my home server likely just using Apache. I have a Logitech Quickcam Home USB. Anyone have any pointers or advice?

Damn, it doesn't look good. Seems like the QuickCam Home is not supported. Anyone know any different?

Anyone reccomend a cheap webcam that is supported?
