Webcam streaming software.

I bought webcam and i looking int make web page and stream webcam into it, not just pictures, but stream that dont require install of any optinal components, someone know software capable of doing this? I did google search and all i found was some spyware, crapware etc...

Windows Media Encoder 9 can set up a broadcast stream from a web cam so long as your running win2k or XPpro. The encoder has a 5 direct connection limit. If you want more, youll need to find something else. How to set it all up, im not sure, as I have never tried.

Thanks this works except one thing there is delay about 9 seconds between what i see on output preview and in media player even if i look from lan, my connection is 512 Kbit/s.
Any idea bout that?

9 seconds is about avg for a home user...i mean think about it...it takes an image, encodes it, sends it online, and all this while your doing whatever else on your machine, about 9 seconds of "buffer" time is pretty amazing and should be about as expected...

A long time ago I setup a temporary streaming webcam using webcam32. I is not free but it worked well and had several options, you might want to check it out.

I tryed HT Web Cam 3.0 and delay was about 0.3 seconds, not sure how it works tho maybe little different than MS Encoder, but as i told there was preview in Encoder and i think its already encoded image, i set to show both input (webcam) and output (think this is encoded stream that goes out to interenet) and there was no delay, only got delay when i played in media player even over lan (127.0.0.1).

Gona try webcam32 cuz dont really feel like paying for HT web cam.
