I am throwing a party at my hosue on the 27th. I would like to set up my comp in the living room along with my webcam and stream or take snapshots on an interval and post it online.
Sytem Specs:
AMD 64 @2.5ghz (can push out another 200mhz if needed)
1gb OCZ ddr500mhz VX ram
74gb raptor on C, 300gb seagate on D
*Logitech Webcam Orbital
*also have a winTV pvr-150mce which i can use to hook up another cam or camcorder to?
WinXP Pro

My net connection is Adelphia Cable, 6mbps Down, 768kbps Up

would streaming even be a viable solution? directly off of my computer?
what about capturing images evey XXX seconds and uploading to a more stable and higher speed online site? if so at what interval to take the snapshots?
what software is recommended for either solution!?

Of course it's very possible, but why would you do that? How sad can you be if you're going to watch a party online?

lol it's not some huge thign or where pl would pay to watch it haha but it is for all our friends who won't make it, who are in other states, all my friends from when i was in the Air Force, ppl on our AIM's that we don't know in person or we don't want to invite lol. Also it iwll be displayed on the 32" tv in the living room so ppl can see what is being sent to the web, it's just for fun
