Webcam Software Help please

Hello people,

I have just found my old Kensington VideoCAM Super-VGA webcam, that I remember doing a firmware upgrade to so that it would work with Win2000 and WinXP. Now the original manufacturer only made software for win9X series, so I need to find a good program or two that would allow me to use the webcam for talking to people online, as well as family around the world.

Any ideas of some good software that is fairly simplistic to use?

Current OS is winXP Pro (still wants some software for the webcam to work), and this on a Dell Inspiron 600m notebook puter.

thanks 🙂

Have you tried MSN messenger?

Provided you have the drivers for the camera installed you should have no problems using msn messengers webcam options...

Also, you can run programs under compatibility safety mode (i.e. Run the program as if it were in a windows 95 os) by right clicking the program and changing the compatibility options.

Hope this helps,
Dan 🙂
