I was wondering if anyone had any good reccomendations for Webcams? I have a Logitech QuickCam Express, which is good for me and all, but it doesn't have some of the options I want. I want a Webcam that comes with software to timestamp the images and maybe even add a signature or something. Also, I need to be able to schedule pictures (example; take a photo every thirty seconds). The reason I need this is because of a Web site I'm working on; I'm going to try to offer Portals. So, if anyone can lend some input, I'd appreciate it. ;)

If you like the one you got, why not just look for software that does what you need? Tons exist, I remember looking for the same thing a few years, I forgot what I found. but I remember something called "ChillCam" which if I recall did stamping and scheduled pictures. If it doesn't, you can find something :)

Most of your wants can be aquired via Software (Timestamp, Signature, picture sequence) I prefer vid in Cameras as opposed to USB although ADS has recently come out with a USB2.0 Camera which I'm anxious to try...The best overall Hardware that I like which includes Timestamping and other great features outside of your request is by using 1 DV Camcorder or Sharp ViewCam as a Webcam

Hrm, so software can do what I want? I didn't know if other software was compatible with a Webcam; I thought the software on the installation disc was basically the driver and the only thing you could use to take pictures with the camera. I guess I still have a lot to learn, eh?
