Webcam questions, Help!

I am trying to setup a live webcam conference for my wife to see her parents on Christmas. I have windows messanger for XP, they have windows 2000 and MSN messenger 7.0. Everytime I try to start the live web conference they get the error that they can only do this with XP. From all the documentation I have read this should be feasable with what we have now. Anyone know an easier way to do this? All help is appreciated!
 
Thanks, I'll look into them. I also was looking at Microsofts Leve Meeting. Seems like it may be a good solution. Thanks!
