webcam not supported?

I have an Intel YC76 webcam and it worked for years on my win2000 system. Today I unplugged it and plugged it back in and it tried to install drivers for it and cannot find -any- working drivers. I checked the Intel support site and found that they don't support my video card under windows 2000 or XP when I've had it work on both my computers that each have 2k or xp. I remember when selecting my cam under source it said something about WDM... Any ideas? I don't really have the cash atm to buy a new cam because of this bs =\
