I'm looking for a program that I can use to turn my webcam into a security cam.. want to put it in the window by the door so I can see what is going on in the front and see who is at the door. Looking for something with a decent fps. I'd like to be able to view it over the internal network. Anyone know what program is good for something like this? DVR similar software but I'm not interested in recording. It would be cool if I could just browse to http://computername😛ort or something.

This program does everything. Streaming, time-lapse, basic uploading of still images to a web page, you name it. The functions are endless. It has motion detection and image adjustment features like text and cropping. It has the best support I have ever seen, direct from the author. It is updated regularly and new features are being added.
Use HTTP Server feature and http browser (or the Webcam Relay feature) to look webcam feed over your network.
 
to start with they're in the $100 range which is a little pricey to me. Second there is not a single one that does night vision.
