Ok, here is my problem. A few weeks a go I noticed my web surfing speeds drop. My download speeds are fine, when I start a download it starts around 360kb/sec and drops to around 354kb/sec and stays between 354-356kb/sec. When gaming I don't see any fluctuation in connection. Its only seems to happen when i'm in a browser. I'm currently using Mozilla but i've tried IE and get the same results. Here are a few things that I have been giving me problems.
1. When I click on link nonthing happens. When I click on it again, the page will load.
2. Sometimes I'll click on a link and it will timeout,
3. I'll click on a link and the page will start to load, then it slows way down, and take a while for the rest of the page to load.
4 The page just take too long to load for a cable connection
Like I said, this just started a few weeks ago. I'm on Road Runner Cable, 3mb down and 1.5mb up or something like that. I have 2 computer hooked up though a router, i've tried unplugging eveything then hooking it back up. I've ran ad aware on both systems, virus scanner on both, but haven't had any luck, i've empted my temp internet files and defraged my HDD's. I've had this same setup for 4 months and haven't had a problem with it till now. Any ideas?? Thanks.
