Web Streaming with Microsoft Server "Longhorn"

I'm looking into setting up an audio/video streaming server at work. Is there any reason to wait for the release of Longhorn, or will it still be using Media Services 9 for streaming?
 
Years? Isn't Longhorn Server (or Server 2007, or whatever name they finally go with) slated for the second half of 2007? I know it's been delayed many times, but it's already in Beta 2. Didn't Vista come out like 7 months after it went into Beta 2?
 
You're more or less correct about the timeline...sometime in 2007 is the official word I believe. I don't know the answer to your original question though, sorry.
