I need to send a file too large to email. I remember there used to be some web sites that would allow you to upload a file for someone else to download later. Do any of these sites still exist?

I agree.

"Mama said knock you out, I'm gonna knock you out ..." that was one of my favorite songs in High School, waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back in the day (88-92).

I was hoping to get a recomendation from somebody that used these sites, but I guess that was too much to ask for.

It took me a whopping 20 seconds to find this by searching for "free web space" on Google.com

What the hell do you need a recommendation for for free storage. This site is freer that that? Jeez transfer the damn file and be done with it. Bits are bits. One site ain't gonna transfer it better than another. NO? I recommend the first one you come to.

I should probably just let this go, but I won't. Are you guys having a bad day or what? I guess a computer forum is the wrong place to go for computer related help. Excuse me for asking a simple question. Moonbeam, actually there is quite a bit of difference in the sites I have looked at. Some offer 5mb, some 10mb, etc. I'm sure some are more reliable than others, but since I don't have any experience with them, I wouldn't necessarily know that, now would I? Go take some midol or something.

You got a 5mb file and 10mb free. While I go take my mydol, how bout you sending the damn file. You don't need reliability. You need a one night stand. Once the file is sent, the universe can collapse. IT WON'T MATTER

Just funning ya john. If you want to send a file you got all you need. You should FTP it though, if you want to learn more stuff.
