Web sites that can't be deleted in Explorer?

Here is a challenge for someone. Nobody, Del, Micro-Soft, etc seems to know the answer to this one.

I can't get the auto complete function on my windows 2000 explorer to stop. I have deleted all the information on my temp files - history - cookies.

I have even un enabled the auto complete function for explorer. The web sites still come up? Is there a defect with certian web sites that anyone is familiar with? Most web sites delete when I do this but some are not that I don't want on my laptop.

Thanks for the help.

Yes I have cleared the forms as well? This is a challenge that I'm not sure anyone has found yet? No one seems to have a solution.

I assume you mean Internet Explorer? What version?

In the meantime, try closing all programs including the browser, then go to Control Panel -> Internet options and clearing the history and autocomplete from there. Reboot and see if that worked.
