He means Ritek G03 and G04 are good.
Not sure who makes the philips discs. Most of the companies OEM the discs from somewhere else. The only way to know what you have is to use something like DVDInfo.exe, NERO or DVDDecrypter.
Check www.DVDRHelp.com for some info on media.

It means Ritek G03 is greater than everything..... basic math + computer 😉


in english.. it means Ritgk G03 is probably the best blank DVD out there, in terms of compatibility with systems. I have never once burned a bad G03, and it plays in ALL my systems... XBOX, PS2, DVD Player, and both my Windows & Apple Laptops.

It 's a little more expensive... about $1+ per disc, but totally worth it.

 
You can only purchase ritek at their web site?

Sam's club sells Verbatim. Anybody try these?
