Web Site Load error w/ Win2000

Hi,

I'm having problem loading web sites with Windows 2000. When I type in www.cnn.com, for example, www.anandtech.com will load up instead. Or nothing will load up and it will give me an HTTP 1040 error. It helps when I clear my history and cash, but it's very aggravating. Sometime deletin the cache doesn't work. Both Internet Explorer and Netscape do it, so I'm assuming it's a 2000 problem. I'm using Ver. 5.00.2195, Service Pack 2.

Any suggestions?
