Screen Specifics

12) From the choices below, what screen resolution(s) would you prefer?

I currently use a Fusjitsu Lifebook 15'' (not wide) with 1400x1050. Scree and resolution si important to me so I would like a decent screen and resolution, though I might consider 1366x768 right now...

* Actual resolutions: 1440x900 and 1600x900
* Actual resolutions: 1680x1050, 1920x1200 and 1920x1080

I've heard good things about the HP Envy 14 Radiance screen. ref: Review HP Envy 14-1010eg Notebook - Notebookcheck Reviews

13) Do you want a glossy/reflective screen or a matte/non-glossy screen?

I would prefer matte for outdoor, but glossy would be fine too

Build Quality and Design

14) Are the notebook's looks and stylishness important to you?

not that important, but should be quite light and thin (Envy, dv6t se).

15) When are you buying this laptop?

as fast as possible

last one, with upgrades lasted about 4 years. Quite the same.

Notebook Components

17) How much hard drive space do you need; 80GB to 640GB? Do you want a SSD drive?

SSD drive would be nice to have. Seen nice option on HP dv6t SE

18) Do you need an optical drive? If yes, a CDRW/DVD-ROM, DVD Burner or Blu-Ray drive?

nope, not compulsory, Blu-Ray would be nice to have though

Laptops I consider:
1. Envy 14, but to expensive with Radiance
2. HP dv6t SE, it has everything I want but low screen resolution and quality (with 150 instant rebate and 250 coupon code)
3. MSI GX640 - nice specs, but low keyboard quality, low battery life, runs quite hot

To summaries: i5 laptop, 4+GB RAM, good screen (color+resolution), good stamina 3-4+ hours, good keyboard.

That would be all, I hope for great advice from you, the experts.

Thank you!
