My brother in laws computer, my old computer, sometimes displays streamimg
video from web pages in all different colors. It doesn't happen on every page just
certain ones. I was thinking it has to do with codecs. I swapped out video cards
and got the same thing. It never happened when I had it. I reinstalled winows
media player for the heck of it and that did nothing. All the hardware is good
and working properly. Could it be windows itself ?
Heres the specs: Gigabyte 949 board. Athlon 64 3500 cpu, two 512's of new
Kingston ddr400 dual channel ram, Radeon 9800 pro ( first card ), X800 Pro ( 2nd card )
200 gig wd sata drive, no sound card and a cdrw and dvdrw drive.
The case and 430w powersupply are new, Raidmax I believe.
Everything from Windows Home to board and video card drivers are up to date.
I'm 99.9 percent sure it's not hardware related. Any ideas on what might be causeing
it ?
