Web Page is too wide

Why are my web pages so wide. My horizontal scroll bar at the bottom of the page is almost on every web page. Advertisement on left side of Anand's Homepage has "action cancelled-web page can not display" message also. Anyone?
 
800 by 600. I 'm at my desktop now and it's that damn AMD ad on the left tha does not load. Also, on techbargains site almost all of the links get same cannot load/cannot find web page error. ?!?!?!
