Is there a major diffence between the different web cams on the market today? It appears 30 fps is the standard. Are thier any other funtions that I should look for? Im going to use them on PCs running XP to video conference with my wife's family in Rio De janeiro, Brasil.

What are the better brands? What brands should I avoid?
