What would you all recommend software wise for a web cam? I just got one and am interested in solutions that allow me to post it on a web page where it updates at a specific interval and also another solution that allows me to stream video (through Windows Media Player, etc). Any suggestions? Thanks!
 
Unless your webcam is going to have naked chicks on it, it's probbably not worth the hassle. If you really need to have a live picture of yourself online, use something like Yahoo Messenger or MSN Messenger.
 
Maybe he is using it to monitor his room while he is away etc. I've been thinking about somethign like that too, and would also like to hear some suggestions.
 
I'm kind of interested in this to. I would like to put one at my camp to see if the water is rough or not in the bay.

Who said its going to be a person? It could be, but I mean it could also be serving the purpose of a security cam or a cam to put in a server room for monitoring, etc. You guys are full of questions, heh.
