web cam opinions please.

I'm looking to buy a few decent web cameras for taking pictures of kids to use in our schools student databases. I only need to take picutes of those kids that for whatever reason didn't get them taken on picture day.

I'm looking at the Logitech Quickcam Express because it seems relatively inexpensive and seems to have decent specs.

Does anybody have exerpience with this camera? How does it compare to the Intel Pro and others?

The biggest difference that I've seen between the different cameras is the software included in the box. From the specs most of them have the same reolution.

I guess it's really not that big of a deal then. I intend to use the software that is built into the database.

That web cam has a max resolution of 352x288. The pictures are not that good or clear, any web cam with a max resolution setting of 640 X 480 would be alot better, plus they don't cost that much more.
