What? I guess my Transformer didn't get that memo.

I've had some issues playing videos on YouTube (stutter, skipping, etc.), though admittedly, the last time I tried it was over a month ago. Overall, it is a great machine. My only major complaint (as long as the videos stuttering was just a fluke) is the file manager in comparison to Windows, but that's just something I've come to expect from a "mobile" OS.

All the tablets I might have gotten from Staples seems to be OOS. For the Transformer, does the 32gb one add anything other than the extra space for the $100?

Nope. Just space.

Try your local bestbuy or toys'r'us. There's been scattered reports of people getting them to "pricematch" the Staples coupon on the Transformer.

i rarely use the interactive content. most times i just scan the stories and never even read the full story.

real news is just paraphrased reuters and AP stories since AP is owned by a long list of news organizations as a kind of non-profit. for CNN the ipad CNN app is the bomb. HuffPo is good as well

the tech rags and blogs are just rephrased PR with the worst being the enterprise IT sites

You don't because you can't. That doesn't mean everyone else should limit themselves to Apple-approved websites and news.
