I have an earthlink cable modem connection and browsing the web has been painfully slow lately... Downloading large files is fine (100+kb/s) but clicking on a link takes 10-15 seconds before the page comes up.. I'm using opera, firebird, and IE and all of them are slow as hell.. Any ideas? I've tried a few winXP reg. tweaks (Dr. TCP, etc.) but nothing seems to help.. Thanks!
oh yeah- i'm using a wireless network and all the pcs on the network are slow.. the computer that I use is wired directly to the router
