WeatherTech: Do they ever have a sale? I don’t think so.

Just purchased my second complete set of custom WeatherTech products in two years. Each time it was a complete set of front an back mats and cargo liners. I have watched them for several years. Never seen a sale, a discount coupon or free shipping. They do give you free shipping on a second item but still zing you pretty good for shipping on the first item

They make a great product. Husky is the only real alternative and I prefer the WeatherTech. Any coupon search at all the usual suspects is alway a dead end. I guess they are so confident in their product and sales are so robust they never feel the need for any sales promotions. Has anyone ever purchased the custom fit products at a discount?

I haven't ever seen WeatherTech discount anything, and I've bought at least 6 sets for five different vehicles in the last 7 years or so.

Earlier this year, I bought my mother a front/back set of mats for her new 2020 Buick Envision and went with Husky x-act. I actually like the feel of them better than the WeatherTech (more rubbery than stiff plastic-y, less tendency to kink/bend at the edges), but they simply don't provide as much area coverage in the front mats as did the Weathertechs. I did find a coupon for Husky, though even with the coupon it still didn't end up any cheaper than a WeatherTech set would have been.

When I bought my two sets in I think 2013, they were having a small sale (maybe it was 10% off).

But that's the last time I've ever seen/noticed it. When we bought a car for our son in 2018, I waited and watched for a sale, and I never saw one. I think I ended up buying a different brand's car mats on Rock Auto since he needed mats to protect the carpet.

Two places I've dealt with for such things...(I went with HuskyLiners rather than Weathertech because I liked the material better for my trucks) but both places usually offer some damned good discount prices:

Zach at Real Truck saved me a shit-ton last year when I bought wheel well liners and mud flaps,

I don't remember the name of the guy at RDP, but when I ought the HuskyLiners mats 3 years ago, he saved me around $50 over anyone else.

Not Weather tech but I found brand new in box unused Husky mats for my car on ebay four about 25% less than from Husky's own website.
