Does anybody have any more information on publicly available information on the internet related to weather and traffic?
I know there are a number of shareware applications that poll weather sources for information.
What protocol do they use?
Does a similar thing exist for traffic?

Please share any links to information you may have.
I'm more interested in the original data sources ... not shareware or websites that present the information to the end-user, as I'm looking to use this information in an application I'm writing.
