Whoops! Someone threw it on the wrong truck.

Best thing to do would be to call FedEx (don't email them) and complain. You may get a refund or partial refund.
Though now that I think about it, the sender might actually get the refund.....?

I have had them send it to the wrong truck as well.

it was 30 miles from my house at a fedex station and then it was sent to another state. It arrived the next day though.

You might can get the shipping refunded.

That's odd...
FedEx goes from Minneapolis to Mankato for me. Once it gets to Mankato I get it the next day. From Mankato it goes to St. James and then to my house (in Windom).

highly doubtful. I believe they only deliver packages that are marked for Saturday delivery.
Only way to get that mark is to pay for Saturday Delivery...which IIRC isn't that cheap.

I can understand it being late tonight, because of the bad weather conditions right now, but today was just fine around our area...
