weather.com or noaa.gov or something else?

I use weather .gov most of the time, and occasionally the weather from my local news channel. I can't stand weather.com. It's like ad city now, and I don't like how they lay out the forecast. It's also much harder to get a actual text forecast on weather.com...it's almost all picture based now for the short attention span people.

Also, reading the forecast discussion links for my local area on weather.gov, I learn some interesting stuff.

🙂

Weather Underground.. Forecasts are always wrong anyways, so I just like to look at local conditions. WU has personal weather stations listed so it's neat to see the differences around town.

weather.com SUCKS! Big time.

I use noaa.gov or intellicast.com.

I know others use weatherunderground quite a bit.

somebody had a thread about a plugin thingy for firefox, so now i have the weather in the lower right hand corner of my browser

Ahh...and that tells you what the weather will be like over the next few days? 😛

Oh wait...you live in Mexico...don't you just alternate between sun and rain? Booooooooooooooring. 😛

My tax dollars pay for it, I might as well get some use out of it. 🙂
Bingo, though it really PO's the private weather providers that it exists. They tried at one point to get NOAA's next-gen forcast data sent out in a propprietary binary data format, and cut off the XML data feeds too.:| Thankfully the geeks prevailed.
