All the melting ice videos they show you is in summer when the ice in question has melted there forever, it is a natural process of glaciers, they never show you the ice reforming in the following winter.

PS: Carbon tax would go to private pockets of Al-Gore for example, various entities in different regions, zero benefit to humanity.

When future generations try to understand how the world got carried away around the end of the 20th century by the panic over global warming, few things will amaze them more than the part played in stoking up the scare by the fiddling of official temperature data. There was already much evidence of this seven years ago, when I was writing my history of the scare, The Real Global Warming Disaster. But now another damning example has been uncovered by Steven Goddard’s US blog Real Science, showing how shamelessly manipulated has been one of the world’s most influential climate records, the graph of US surface temperature records published by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).

Goddard shows how, in recent years, NOAA’s US Historical Climatology Network (USHCN) has been “adjusting” its record by replacing real temperatures with data “fabricated” by computer models. The effect of this has been to downgrade earlier temperatures and to exaggerate those from recent decades, to give the impression that the Earth has been warming up much more than is justified by the actual data. In several posts headed “Data tampering at USHCN/GISS”, Goddard compares the currently published temperature graphs with those based only on temperatures measured at the time. These show that the US has actually been cooling since the Thirties, the hottest decade on record; whereas the latest graph, nearly half of it based on “fabricated” data, shows it to have been warming at a rate equivalent to more than 3 degrees centigrade per century.

When I first began examining the global-warming scare, I found nothing more puzzling than the way officially approved scientists kept on being shown to have finagled their data, as in that ludicrous “hockey stick” graph, pretending to prove that the world had suddenly become much hotter than at any time in 1,000 years. Any theory needing to rely so consistently on fudging the evidence, I concluded, must be looked on not as science at all, but as simply a rather alarming case study in the aberrations of group psychology.

How can you research an area that doesn't exist?

journalistic degree? Alex Jones doesn't have one, Matt Drudge doesn't have one, Mike Adams doesn't have one ... this is a classic sheeple argument, an extremely poor one.

Journalists really think they're professionals and qualified because they went to a school that just told them so and made them into indoctrinated sheeple who don't know different.

Academic credentials? another classic ... Why do doctors wear white coats? It makes them look more official, more believeable.



Because the average public's stupidity level (thanks fluoride) and general cultural degeneration (thanks entertainment) has risen to a point when everyone thinks you have to be a rocket scientist to understand a lot more that is in the average daily mainstream attention (distractions)

On a personal note, the area where I grew up on south shore of Long Island many have lost their homes because they were single story house that is no longer habitable because high tides now comes in first floor.

Those that have been able to afford to have raised the house a full story.

Warming Earth Heading For Hottest Year on Record



Earth is on pace to tie or even break the mark for the hottest year on record, federal meteorologists say.


The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration announced Monday that last month the globe averaged 60.3 degrees Fahrenheit (15.72 degrees Celsius). That was the hottest September in 135 years of record keeping.


It was the fourth monthly record set this year, along with May, June and August.


NASA, which measures temperatures slightly differently, had already determined that September was record-warm.

If 2014 breaks the record for hottest year, that also should sound familiar: 1995, 1997, 1998, 2005 and 2010 all broke NOAA records for the hottest years since records started being kept in 1880.


"This is one of many indicators that climate change has not stopped and that it continues to be one of the most important issues facing humanity," said University of Illinois climate scientist Donald Wuebbles.

Some people, mostly non-scientists, have been claiming that the world has not warmed in 18 years, but "no one's told the globe that," Blunden said. She said NOAA records show no pause in warming.
