So I guess that UPS doesnt hold the USPS motto in very high regard. So much for through sleet wind snow and all that jazz.

I ordered the remaining parts for my bedroom PC on Monday and.. as luck would have it... its stuck in KY due to "adverse weather conditions". Im all for safety for the shipping guys, but mother nature is SERIOUSLY mad about SOMETHING.

Might be because Im used to Tucson's weather (moved from Chicago so yes I DO unfortunatly know what cold, bitter weather is all about) but it just seems that there has been more weird crap going on weather wise than I can remember.

Used to be that Late november-early march was cold, late march early June was friggen great, late jJune till early September was hot, late September to early Nov was cool.

So.... I guess Ill fire up the old 'Yota and help my planet get MORE pissed. Muahaha!

They've got a whole lot of fairly low-paid laborers moving their freight. If your job is lousy, and you're not getting a whole lot of money for your troubles, the motivation to brave the bad weather is just not there.

Just be careful, nature could get really pissed off. There are lots of big old chunks of rock and ice out there. One of them just a mile wide hitting us could cause problems a lot worse than a few shipping delays. Nature can get downright cold-hearted sometimes.;)
