Whenever I wear a suit shirt buttoned all the way up with a tie it always ends up making my neck break out and get all red.

Maybe its because of the way I shave or something? I don't know, but it's quite annoying.

Any advice?

it could be the starch in the collar. try a different brand when you iron it.

Don't get your shirts starched when they're drycleaned (or maybe you're allergic to drycleaning chemicals :Q). Or, try shirts with larger neck sizes.

then it's probably your detergent or th fabric.

Try your shirts with a load of DREFT or some other Hypo-allergenic detergent (try a health food store) then see if it's a specific one that does it. Sounds like you have sensitive skin so you may react strongly to man made fibers. have any all cotton shirts?

What is it with you and your neck dude..... You cut it when shaving and shirts make it break out... It probally breaks out cuz you butcher it when you shave......

You are scraping it raw, then bundling it up and sweating. Shave with lots of creme, dry throughly, and use some powder.
Stay away from the cologne or after shave.
It may be the aromatic chemicals that are helping you break out.

!

Now for some advice.

Try getting some different brand shirts? Are your shirts 100% at the moment? Maybe try that?

I've had no problems with any of my shirts. Some much better quality and feeling then others. Try a neck size that is 1 inch larger. It'll give you slightly more breathing space and its not tight but it still looks good.
