Hey

I have read all the comments and advice in the forums about wireless mini pci and IBM.
I have followed the instructions. I Bought a mini pci 2100 3B.
I have used the advice about no.1802.exe and it works.

BUT: I cant get no signal and if I place my R40 rigth to the Zyxel Zyair B1000 I get the message that the signal strength is 2.0 Mbps.
If I walk just one meter away, I have no signal

Can anyone please help?

Sorry about my english

You confirmed that your router works by using the Zyxel PC card. Therefore, the only possibilities I can think of (in order with the most likely at the top) are:

1) You didn't connect the internal antennas to the mini PCI card when you installed it. If your laptop was designed to support mini PCI wireless, there will be two antenna plugs inside the mini PCI slot. You need to connect those to the wireless card. If your laptop doesn't have those antenna connectors you will either need to have some installed, or you won't be able to use the mini PCI card.
2) The drivers didn't install correctly, or you used the wrong drivers.
3) The mini PCI card you bought is bad and you'll need to replace it.

I have connected the internal antennas to the mini PCI card.

The drivers are ok

so.... maybee it is the mini PCI ??
