It's basically a knee-jerk reaction that doesn't solve anything.

It was essentially political grand-standing to show that they were concerned about the meth issue and taking action
So now, it's really not any harder for the people making meth to get their ingredients, but I had to wait in line for ten minutes, give them my driver's license, and sign my name to get one measly box of a decongestant that actually works.

Really? That's kind of sad. I wonder what other products we can ruin. Let's start pouring laundry detergent on highways. It'll make them slick, and cause accidents. Soon the laundry detergent aisle will have fifteen guards posted by Homeland Security, and then you'll have to file a form and wait five weeks to get enough for one load of wash. If you do more than three loads a week, you'll be put on their watch list - worse still, you could be hung out to dry.

(sorry)

Umm, come to Spokane County, they are getting ready to outlaw phosphates in dishwashing detergent. No more Cascade Complete.

Is meth abuse bad there. I realize it's bad everywhere but is it even worse there or something?

Supposedly its worse in Oregon than any other state in the country...

I hate this new fake stuff they add... gotta love the government butting into our lives...

No other reason except to stop "meth production"... I don't know any meth heads... but I kinda doubt the just buy mass quantities in a drug store... Would assume that have some other source...

Come to rural North Alabama and go to Walmart... So many methheads they're a dime a dozen.

Which is the typical politician's response to the crisis de jour; pass some legislation that won't really solve anything, but gives the impression that the legislator has done his job.

this is why people need to be more active and vote.

Today's laws are being made by cowards and those unrealistic.
