bump.. for the good fo the rc5 guys.. there still appears to be a lot of people using the "incorrect" client...

<whew> Thanks for not taking my spelling comments too seriously guys. I tried to be cool about it. It's just that I see that one mispelled a lot. For the life of me I don't know why. However, given that English is NOT your first lanuage it makes complete sense to me. The one that gets me is those who do that and English is their first language (maybe primary is a better word than first...whatever).

Polo and LeBlatt: trust me your english is fine! Better than some people who supposedly speak it as their primary language...and I'm not kidding here.

Anyways, I hope everyone who needs to downgrade has downgraded. 🙂

On most computer related french websites that I visit, spelling and grammar are awful, mostly on forums, but even in the articles, and I hate that. I often have to read a post twice because it makes no sense.
Taking some extra time to write correctly is certainly a sign of respect for the reader. And to those who answer "WTF provided I'm understood", hmpfff.

I've updated this page to show blocks submitted after March 1 using client versions 8011 and 8012. There is now also a column for the date the last block was submitted using the buggy client.

There are still many people using 8012. Please check your clients!

Mika

Ok, I don't show for any RC5 blocks. That's good.

How about OGR???? I think I may have one loose cow doing 8012 OGR, but it is inconvenient to check.

JonB: Good point! I have created a page which now lists OGR clients of version 8011 or 8012. JonB is not on that list! 🙂

Mika

One more update of the page. We were down to under 60,000 blocks from yesterday submitted from the 8011 and 8012 clients.

How long should I continue doing these updates?

Geez - I would think until such time that dnet announces a cutover date... 🙁

Seems like a lot of work for you though Mika... 🙁

But 60,000 blocks is nothing to sneeze at.

And dvch - haven't seen you post in a LOOOOONNNNGGGGG time... 🙂

Quick reminder.
Aslo make sure to remove the 467 beta client if you've been testing it, as its results will now be discarded !

To the top!
