We should have a finance forum

I like this idea. A lot of us hold similar stocks and it would be a good place for noobs (like me) to learn.

Off topic can be flooded as is. A finance forum would be great. Think of how much more could be posted on off topic if it weren't for all of the tax threads.

How come no one starts a thread like "Official Finance Thread" and goes from there? I can't see the need for a separate finance forum. But maybe a thread like that would grow and convince the powers that be that a separate forum is needed.
Yes, I know a single thread would get bulky/hard to follow but I don't see many finance related topics as it is.
Just a thought.

I started a thread in OT asking people if it would be of value and I didn't get a single response.

I created an acutal finance thread(in my sig) and it got a little traffic, then nothing. I don't think there is enough interest to create an entire forum for it.
