We seriously need a Fallout 3 remake.

They wouldnt even have to redo all the models and textures. Just integrate the DLC's, fix up all the bugs, and add in the crafting from New Vegas.
Also maybe the ammo types.

You know what?
Just fix all the bugs. That would be great.

It would be even better if it wasn't just Oblivion with guns.

There is a game of the year edition of FO3 with all the DLC

You can use mods also to "fix all the bugs" easily enough , crafting and as many guns as you can imagine

I'd sooner an Oblivion remake without gamebryo. I don't really care about Fallout, but I cannot forgive them for wasting Cyrodiil on that wretched turd of an engine. If you ask me, that was an even greater crime than TESO.
come on now, Oblivion was released in 2006 and was revolutionary for its' time. and you have to remember it ran on 8800GT and X1950 cards.
have you played Shivering Isles? that expansion had better "vistas" than vanilla Oblivion.

i would also like a FO remake, but make it better, create a new storyline and call it FO4 :D

I'd sooner want a fallout 3 remake using id Tech 3, than Gamebryo.

The bug they need to fix is the x64 bug. Where the game pretty much doesn't run under 64 bit OSs.

There is a fix online that I google for whenever I've reinstalled it and want to play it again. It's a setting in a text file. My game rarely (if ever... can't remember) crashes after I change the setting.

It does work with x64 os , you need to set it to use one core only and it works without crashing

Negative. Tried that fix, on my C2D E8500, on my i5 2400, and my i5 4670. No go under Vista 64 or 7 x74. Never tried under 8.1 x64.

Are you sure you updated the right file? I remember when I first tried it, it didn't work. I then figured out there are actually 2 files that are the same thing, but in different directories (the game only uses 1 of the 2). I just happened to update the wrong one.

It's probably this. I've replayed it at least once and probably twice on my Win 7 x64 i5-2500 quad core and adding the fix made in 90% less crashy. The other 10% is just the price you pay for a Bethesda game.
