Its a chinese site, so need google.translate to understand any of it.

Anyways looks like they benchmarked the Llano @3.1ghz overclock, and got Vantage score of ~4450, and a 3Dmark06 score of ~7643.

Apparntly in Vantage a score of about 4500, correlates to something like a
GT 240 512mb or Radeon HD3870 512mb.

Still holding out for launch and reviews, but does this seem good for a IGP?
What do you guys think?

A 3870 would play just about anything at 1280x1024, so that isn't bad for an IGP. My old machine (see sig) had a 3850, and I didn't have any issues with even Crysis at 1280x1024. The biggest issue with it was that it wasn't powerful enough to run games with AA most of the time.

I would love it if my laptop were that powerful, and I might get a Llano laptop later this year if it really does that well.

i wonder if llano would make a good upgrade from my x4 630 w/ 7300LE server/transcoder box

if handbrake supported transcoding on the shaders :hmm:

I still find it tough to believe it could match up to a 3870, it has way less bandwidth. But if true that's pretty damn awesome.

A Radeon HD 4670 was close in performance to a HD 3870, and Llano was conceived as "Radeon HD 4650" performance (aprox ~20-35% slower than a 4670) Sounds credible.

I am also on the fence with a new laptop... get a Bobcat, get a Llano or wait for a faster bobcat.... :p
