Was Agent Smith correct, are we a cancer on our planet? :) Interesting research...although I wonder if it isn't possible other sources caused it? i.e. what does a volcano eruption do ot the data?

It would seem that vocanic eruptions would easily cause more emmissions than humans at the time....

Volcanic eruptions - different chemistry.
Buids more land mass - provides sulpheric compounds.
Good for plants, they enjoy the minerals.
Bad for animal life.

OK Capn what about forest fires? Lots more forests, lots less firefighters back in the olden days...Lots of emissions, same chemistry as anything man would have burned.

It doesn't matter if we are a cancer to the earth. We live here, and that's that.

True, forest fires and volcanoes release a lot of CO2, but they are natural occurances that have always existed. Car, Factory, and other human activity emmissions are not natural and are the cause of growth in CO2 emmissions and atmospheric concentrations.

Hi,

If the science is any good they'll have made assumptions/estimates as to CO2 production via volcanic/forest fire/etc activity and factored that in. Will have to get a link to a paper to check for sure.

And the goofy computer modeling by the flat earth society continues..

Care to back that up?

Cheers,

Andy
