Air Israel please clear the runway showing an airplane wearing a beard and beanie. 2 black guys speaking jive. The movie pulled no punches when it came to ethnic stereotypes. Unfortunately, they could never make another movie like that in today's PC world. Nor would I want to see a politically correct airplane remake, sequel whatever. The movie was funny and let it be what it is.

And Airplane! was mild compared to Blazing Saddles.

Movies like that can't be remade. The public now expects that kind of humor, and writers don't know how to write straight faced comedy anymore. Hence the Scary Movie series.

I'm not asking for a remake. I'm asking for a sequel. By Zucker, Zucker, and Abrams. Let it spoof the 400 other plane movies that have come out since Airport '77.
