Too story driven. It'd have to be dumbed down enough so that you don't make choices in the dialog which is what Bioware does best. While I agree the mechanics are there and the universe is good, the story part of it would have to be very un-Bioware like for it to work.

So they can sink all their resources into a game played by people that speak l33t and only care about powergaming and not story?

No thanks.

No no no it would have the story as well, it would need it to have the story to be a mass effect MMO, not some watered down crap like world of warcraft.

Surely crap or non existant story + MMO isn't the only way to go?

Like TOR is supposed to be... just in the ME universe?

Considering the bad taste left in my mouth by purchasing ME1 during a Steam sale, I am not sure that I back this idea.

We will see how TOR turns out and if they can meld the MMO genre with their strong story telling abilities. If they do a good job there, I wouldn't doubt that they will move on to do a Mass Effect MMO at some point too.

That's true, the best way to go is anything + not an MMO.

I don't see how you can have an indepth character driven story with a MMO. There's thousands of people playing the same game.
