Sure,... directed by both Michael Bay and JJ Abrams.

It's 2014 - white home invasions have gone up 2,000%. White families are constantly terrorised by immoral roaving gangs of blacks, hispanics and orientals. The gangs break in, beat up everyone, do drugs, have abortions in the living rooms of these white homes and then rape everyone before they leave and move on to the next home.

Scarlett; played by Kate Upton, as a coke snorting prostitute, fending off said home invaders from her brothel.

Rhett; played by Bob Saget, he is a closet case homosexual militia compound leader. He watches over his land, and his two sisters; Melaney (played by Gary Busey) and Ashley (played by Nick Nolte). He visit's Scarlett's brothel, to prove to his sisters that he is not gay.

Random black, hispanic and oriental actors play the parts of the roaving gang members.

Why, it's a timeless masterpiece as it is, and cannot be improved, why not re-make "Battlefield earth" instead. They always choose movies that were great the first time around then proceed to produce a dud, case in point, "Robocop", nothing to see here except better shooting scenes, waste of time. "Flight of the Phoenix" OMG that was a horrific abortion vs the original which had some of the best actors ever. "The longest yard", some liked the re-boot, I was not one of them. There are a few exceptions of course, "Aliens" was awesome but was a squeal, not a re-boot of the first, same with terminator #2.

I'd hope not :)

Even if I think Anne Hathaway is hot.

Remake that is but someone will eventually probably, and Citizen Kane, and Africa Queen, and Casablanca.

People still think that it's a good movie?

Quick wiki check says that the American Film Institute puts it at top ten all time. What can possibly be gained from remaking it? Shouldn't the objective in remaking something be to do it better?

This movie would never work for a remake. It is far too long and really about nothing important.

Yes, let's remake bad or terrible movies to make better versions of them!!

Too many remakes are taking awesome movies and releasing inferior versions of them. Sometimes they are only slightly inferor, other times they are complete garbage, worse than even some "knock off" copycat films.

I would like to see Starship Troopers remade right myself, I loved that book growing up and it was such an abortion.

Was waiting for someone to finally do it with the Mobile Infantry, then a movie with no real MI.

Big let down.
