I believe Wiki when it comes to history.

Pizza is a type of bread and dish that has existed since time immemorial in Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cuisine. The term 'pizza' first appeared "in a Latin text from the southern Italian town of Gaeta in 997 AD, which claims that a tenant of certain property is to give the bishop of Gaeta 'duodecim pizze', "twelve pizzas", every Christmas day, and another twelve every Easter Sunday," according to Martin Maiden, Professor of Romance Languages at Trinity College of Oxford University .

"We also invented garlic bread!" :p

Lol, while many of the Koreans in that vid are dead serious, like history student dropout and passionate conspiracy theorist Sang-Joon Han, who exclaims from his suburban Seoul bedroom:

"I HATE Marco Polo!"
The clip itself is decidedly tongue in cheek.

Btw, I orginally mistook the pic of Marco Polo on the "lone pizza protestor's" placard for the guy on Zig Zag rolling papers.

China doesn't have pasta, they have crappy noodles.

Negatory. Just because you eat Top Ramen for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, it doesn't give you the qualifications to speak about chinese noodles.

Al Dente is nothing compared to the chewiness the chinese are able to get into their noodles.

You can pick by breed. Corgi topping is the best, pitbulls are too spicy.

Some of my army buddies who were stationed in Korea said that they had dog soup before and it was delicious. They have a special dog bred to be eaten like cattle.

You are right.

Westerners think we eat our pet own breeds, snag a neighbor's dog, etc which is just not true. They own dogs as man's best friend too.

I've never had it, but Flushing/NJ area has many shops that make it the same with lamb or goat meat. It's a hot pot of spicy soup with fresh veggies and tofu. I'd love to try it someday.. even the original dog version.

You kill something humanely and eat it for consumption, who the fuck can anyone judge?

Authentic Chinese noodles > Italian pasta.

Mr. Pizza's September 2011 mockumentary-style commercial "The True Origins of Pizza" received more than 1,000,000 views on YouTube. It received high praise and in-depth analysis in a journal article by two New Zealand-based Asian Studies professors. They stated that "the level of skill and irony that went into its making are noteworthy among commercial ads anywhere".[1]

It's a joke, but even if they did, I wouldn't be surprised or care. Most of the dishes we have today a result of cuisine fusion. Spices, cooking methods and utensils, etc. didn't all arise from a single nation or culture. Even the most isolated ethnic cuisine benefited from another culture's contributions.
