We just got evacuated?

I was sitting here on ITA duty and we knew something was going on (police) and then we just got evacuated. There's police everywhere and like thousands of people all outside here. Happened to have my laptop with me since I was on duty. Heard something about hostages and a murder? Maybe a bomb?
On July 4th someone was murdered on campus so maybe it's related

OK I'm back inside. Turns out someone saw a suspicious bomb-like thing in the subway so they called police. When they brought the bomb-sniffing dog in, the dog went crazy and went right up to it
we were evacuated cause the subway runs right under our house
they must have brought in the robot thing or something, though - they found it to just be an umbrella

now Im gonna go to south st. for dinner I'm hungry
