So today is my last day at work, and we've got protesters outside to show me off. I'll miss that about this company...they always have the funniest signs.

Peace...the group is the Brandywine Peace Coalition or something like that. Apparently Lockheed is responsible for all war and suffering in the world. My favorite sign says "Hiroshima never again! Stop Lockheed Martin!"

We make satellites here! And to the best of my knowledge, Lockheed doesn't make nuclear missles at all, let alone this facility!

I thought LM makes their missiles in Florida? I can never remember who makes what except I think Denver is space stuff.

Oh and hit me up on CIM :p.

You should stop to converse with them on your way out.

Always had fun with the protesters outside KFC. :)

They make missles, but unless I'm just not cleared to know about it, I didn't think any nuclear ones. And this location makes either GPS satellites and a "fancy" version of Sharepoint, so they're wasting their time...

They want to feel special and thinking that they're "making a difference" in some way. I think it'd be fun if we had protesters outside.... It'd give us something to talk about!

Ah, are you the guys that made the satellite for Dish Network that fucked by a launch in Kazakhstan a few days back?

And shouldn't they be protesting at Los Alamos or one of the national labs if they're against nukes?

12:01 smear blood on yourself and run out there screaming "I finally see what you are talking about protestors! You've shown me the light! I fucking quit this place! Someone give me a picket sign!" and start some chants and shit. They'll think they just saved you....

My favorite protester is the one who chained himself to the Washington State Grange office (a place that lobbies for rural people) thinking it was a government building. If I worked in that building I'd leave him chained to the door and eat lunch about 5 feet away from him.

...if you really wanna mess with them, get a dozen people to dress up in suits and dark sunglasses to all stand in a line behind them talking into their sleeves.

No they're actually protesting that Lockheed is letting me leave, haha.

Not that I'm aware of. This location only makes GPS.

Going to work for another Security Company?
Nah, Amazon.

My position is software development engineer. Don't know exactly what it will entail, but hopefully more than staring mindlessly at my monitor like I did at Lockheed.
