Now a days almost all current aftermarket radios i've seen offers a direct ipod connection. The type were you dont ever have to touch your ipod/itouch/iphone ever. The headunit can change the songs and everything. I really like that feature. Plus it charges it as the same time.
But it seems like ipods are the only ones out there. I would like to say Zune is the 2nd most popular mp3/mp4 type of device out there. Are there any " zune ready" radios out there that offer similiar features to the direct ipod connection.
I have a ipod connection in my alpine right now pair with my 30gb. I'm interested in getting the new 32gb zune HD thing. Mainly for HD radio and a nice screen, I'm looking to get another radio for the car as well, this time with video features. If i get the zune i might not be able to play videos thru my zune to my HU. This would again turn me back into the apple monopoly. Are there any ways around this...
Given my current situation. It looks like the new little ipod is my only option if i want to stream videos from my ipod to the car's radio and have a FM tuner( but not HD tuner)
